Free Christmas Meals
For those who it may be helpful this year, there are some places offering free Christmas meals in Fife. This is an opportunity for a hot meal and connection with others on Christmas Day. People can find this helpful for different reasons, including being on their own at Christmas or experiencing financial difficulties.
Kirkcaldy Salvation Army Community Church

It may be worth looking on Facebook pages of your local Church, or contacting them directly, to see if they are offering free Christmas meals this year.
Church Services at Christmas
Churches across Fife will be offering services on and around Christmas day. These can be an opportunities to participate and connect with others on the day. Churches usually advertise services on their websites/Facebook pages, or you can speak to them directly to find out the times.
The Good Things Foundation - Staying Connected by Phone and internet.
The Good Things Foundation is a digital inclusion charity that works to help people connect and access the internet. The foundation works with Digital Inclusion Hubs - local organisations that support their communities to access the internet.
You can get a free sim-card from a participating Digital Inclusion Hub If you are over 18 and from a low-income household and/or have difficulties accessing the internet.

Helplines and Other Services
The Fife Council's Staying Safe and Keeping Well Booklet also has a list of helplines and services people can use to connect with support in different circumstances. We can also suggest calling Samaritans or Breathing Space if you would like to talk with someone.
