Veterans Health and Wellbeing – A distinctive Scottish Approach Conference 8 August 2019

V1P Scotland would like to invite you, as veterans, family members and supporters of veterans, practitioners, managers, and policy leads working in the 3rd sector, public service and military sector to a one day conference to focus on how we as a community can inform the developing Action Plan in response to the report published in April 2018 by the Veterans Commissioner which set out a series of findings and recommendations for the Scottish Government.   A number of the recommendations were focused on mental health including the recommendation that Mental Health Action Plan be developed.  In addition to the specific mental health recommendations, V1P Scotland with stakeholders are keen to explore  some of the other recommendations which we know chime with our experiences and practice in our V1P Centres.
